Weeding

Weeds Generally

I have so many weeds in my garden that at certain times of the year there is a kind of jungly madness which, from a distance, is very appealing. That's all great standing at the kitchen window and looking out on green. However, weeds won't stop at being pretty but will smother everything given half a chance.

After years of gardening, I realise that I will never get rid of weeds, that they are an integral part of my garden. This isn't depressing, it's the ebb and flow of life. Sometimes they get the upper hand and then I have to have a concerted effort to reign them. Next I have a period of weeding inertia so they start to take over and so it goes on. However, there are things you can do to make life easier and there are things to watch out for and get quickly on top of. See the links below for more information and ideas on what to do.
